The J in JDM: 1991 Daihatsu Mira J Turbo

The L200 generation Daihatsu Mira was a kei-car built from 1990 through 1994 in Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia and sold into those right-hand-drive markets. Unfortunately, it was never built or sold in left-hand-drive configuration, but a few have made it to the United States via enthusiastic car exporters. Today’s Mira J is offered in the desireable turbo trim with a 5-speed manual and 4-doors. Perfect for the family. Find this 1991 Daihatsu Mira J Turbo offered for $5,990 in Corona, CA via craigslist.

I drive this all the time to and from LA. it’s scary fast and has plenty of power. pulls super hard in 3rd and 4th gear. Does 86 on the freeway at 5k rpm, i normally cruise at 65-70 at 4500 rpm.

needs motor mounts and has a squeaky belt
