Looks like the driver forgot about the added length and made a few hasty turns around solid obstacles. Gotta swing wide with this barge.
This makes my teenage itch scratch. When as a youngster I spent a year in the mountains of Colorado banging nails,I had a purple extended ’61 Buick Invicta with a wooden platform behind the front seats where my sleeping bag lay. Upon which I slept in the freezing cold on various switchbacks above town…..in between cabins and condos. it must have originally been a limousine as it just had a section added in front of the back doors.
The Guru Maharaj Ji was a big deal for the various softheads around at the time, and I used to slap 12 inch round stickers with is face and his catch phrase….I think it was ‘Be Here Now’ on the back doors and drive up to Tulagis in Boulder to see Hot Tune etc. Made me laugh when the softheads thought that fake little faker was in the back of the purple limo . I have a pix on my computer somewhere If I could add it I would. I found this:
