The Scion XB was never sold from the factory as a two-seat pickup, but it should have been. Today’s custom Scion has been given the El Camino treatment, and it looks a million times better than a stock XB. Now, to find a matching trailer that could haul around your friends. Find this 2006 Scion […]
This next car is quite something else. It starts with a normal looking Chevrolet Caprice Classic (not an Impala…) and then continues to have another Caprice that was shortened to puffer fish proportions and turned into a trailer. With the available 8 seats (3+3+2) in the Caprice and then the final 5 in the trailer (3+2) you get a total seating for 13 in a vehicle that might not technically be legal to have people in the back, but I think the only reason a cop would pull you over would be to tell you how awesome it looked. Find this 1993 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Plus Trailer offered for $12,500 in Hoquiam, WA via craigslist. Tip from JB1025.
Building a custom trailer from half of an old car is a hit and miss game where the end result can be range from a fantastic BBQ to something straight from a horror movie. This next feature is oddly well executed and looks like the perfect trailer for a classic Fox owner. Find this 1975 Audi […]
Old school Airstream trailers look like big aluminum foil wrapped burritos, filled with open road fun, family adventure, and barbacoa. Unwrap that aluminum foil cover and inside you find a burrito…well..actually, if you unwrapped an Airstream you’d find a Burro. Like this 1999 Burro offered here on eBay currently bidding for $3,250 reserve-not-met with 2 […]

So, I’m going to put this out here: this next feature is the perfect family hauler. Find this 1970 Custom Renault Trike with Opel trailer offered here on […]
It is always fun to take your street car to a track event, but it generally isn’t a good idea. Racing accidents, tire wear and comfort/speed tradeoffs inevitably lead to the conclusion that you need a dedicated race car…but now you need a place to store it, a way to haul it to the track…etc. […]
The first thing they tell you at any Junky Car Anonymous meeting is “stay away from enablers;” at least that is what Doctordel told me (a regular JCA participant), because I don’t have a car problem and I don’t need help (Hunsbloger: Haha – try asking his wife!). The truth is, I’m an enabler, I […]
The Ford Ranchero beat the El Camino to the pickup-car market by two years, a handy fact at Ranchero owner’s disposal when everyone asks the model year of their “El Camino”. The Ranchero sold in decent numbers for a specialty vehicle, over 500,000 in its 22 years of production (for reference, that is equivalent to […]
Recent hype has surrounded a camper conversion once owned by Steve McQueen, and while he certainly was a legend, the car is just another Chevy pickup with a camper conversion. Nothing to see, move along please. Move right along to the strangest camper you’ll find on the web. This is a 1935 Graham Housecar, for […]
