The Saab 9000 was launched in 1984 as the Trollhättan-based car company’s foray into executive car business. Styling was a two-punch combination of Björn Envall and Giorgetto Giugaro, and it was a striking design when new — not outrageous, but not just another blob mobile that everyone else was pushing on unsuspecting consumers. Today’s CD-sedan […]
The Special returned to the Buick lineup in 1961 after a two year hiatus — but instead of being an entry level full-size, it was now a compact unibody sedan built on GM’s Y-platform. The Buick, Oldsmobile, & Pontiac “senior compacts” shared the same unibody undercarriage, suspension, and aluminum V8, but styling was up to […]

The 1950 model was the last year before the platform was seriously upgraded and split into Concord, Cambridge, and Cranbrook models. Today’s De Luxe might look […]

For those of us who are fans of classic cars, the Chevrolet Corvair needs no introduction. This quirky little sedan, produced from 1960 to 1969, was ahead of its time in many ways and continues to fascinate automotive enthusiasts to this day. One of the most notable things about the Corvair was its engine placement […]
What are the requirements for a good deal on a cool car? Does the advertisement need have good photos? Nope. Does it need to have good description? Nope. Does it need to be a crazy sedan delivery conversion of a popular pony car? Nope. Wait. Hold up. That is a requirement. Find this 1984 Ford […]

Looks straight, original, and very reasonable… Yes indeed this does look like a great way to get into a classic mid-50s piece of American iron.
