How often do you find a Jaguar with a running V12 for less than $3K? Not just a running engine but the transmission and other bits are also reported to function. First, the lunar eclipse, now this…WATCH OUT FOR LOCUSTS! Find this 1987 Jaguar XJ12 Vanden Plas offered for $2958 or best offer located somewhere […]
This next Jaaaaag is a bit of an oddity. At first glance, it looks like a sort of two-seat roadster, maybe a Jaguar XK from the 1950s, but they were replaced by the E-Type in 1961. So what could have a 1966 title and be a two-seater…hang on. It looks like somebody made a custom […]
The XJ40 generation 91986-1995) Jaguar XJ was a big step up in reliability and build quality compared to the previous generation (Series 3) XJ. But it will still spend a considerable time at the mechanic’s shop or in your garage shed. Today’s XJ6 has been given an injection of domestic reliability in the form of […]
What do you do with an old Jaguar XJ? Drive it around stock? Restore it and put it in your garage for when they finally go up in price? Or do you power it with a Chevy LT1, lift it, and then hoon in some dirt? That is what the seller of the Jagwar did […]
I don’t want to upset any of the Jaguarophiles in the room, but I’m going to say that buying this next car would be a serious mistake for anybody. You will regret it, trust me. Maintenance, repair bills, underwhelming performance…yes, yes, yes. But, I have to admit that this is the most gorgeous blue color […]
This next car is an example of why everything looks better in racing livery. It was built in 2021 as a tribute to the classic XJS Group 44 racers that were campaigned back in the day by Bob Tullius in SCCA Trans-Am racing. Interesting is that the Tullius built XJS competed and beat many Chevrolet […]
This next car comes as a tip from Powershouse who writes: Big old cat – too good to be true? Looks to be in good condition although the pics are from a distance. Is this a lot of car for the money or a yawning money pit to throw cash into? Find this 1974 Jaguar […]
The Jaguar V12 (1971-1997) engine was first sold in the E-Type road car, but the design was originally created for the mad XJ13 LeMans racer. A few years later, the engine was stuffed into the Malcolm Sayer/Doug Thorpe designed XJS, which is/was a beautiful car from any angle…except from the window at the service writer’s […]
This next car comes as a tip from Johnny Bouncewell who writes: Oh man. We’ve all been there. No matter how deep you dive into aa project, it sometimes just doesn’t work. Someone please buy this so I don’t. I already have a Jag I haven’t (though probably should) admitted my own defeat. Find this […]
You know what I like in a car advertisement? I like it when the seller emphasizes the local ice cream shop instead of the car. I don’t need to know the condition of the car or a single good photo of the driver’s seat where I’m gonna spend my days…NO, give me a close up […]
