If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if someone combined British Leyland luxury with the Union Jack, a can of carb cleaner, and just enough madness to make the neighbors call the HOA—well, here’s your answer. This next Jaguar XJ6 isn’t just a project car; it’s a rolling art installation, complete with a roof rack […]
If you’ve always dreamed of pulling up to a cars & coffee in a pre-war British roadster but your wallet strongly disagrees, this Jaguar SS100 replica might just be the loophole you’ve been waiting for. Built in 1990 on a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle chassis, this fiberglass-bodied classic channels all the long-hood, swoopy-fender energy of the […]
Owning a V12 Jaguar is less about getting from A to B and more about developing a deep, committed relationship with your local mechanic—and this next XJS in Crimson Red is ready to take that journey with you. Powered by the famously complex 5.3L V12, it runs well enough to have passed smog and wears […]
The Malcolm Sayer/Doug Thorpe-designed XJS was a grand tourer from Jaguar built from 1975 through 1996. With over 115K units sold in the 20 years of production, these aren’t rare cars, but the V12 version is something of a unicorn if it hasn’t been swapped with a Chevy V8. Find this 1992 Jaguar XJS V12 […]
The 2002-2009 Jaguar X-Type was a compact executive car built in England to compete with BMW’s 3-series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4. It wasn’t a bad car, but it didn’t sell as well as much of the competition, and you don’t see many around. The wagon version is even more rare and I love the […]
At first glance I assumed it was an error in the list. You know, one of those V4, new breaks, Camero style typos. The seller clicked the wrong box because there is no way that this has a manual gearbox. I’ve never seen an XJS with a manual. Did they even sell it that way […]
If you are an average person, you probably can’t afford (or wouldn’t want to mortgage the house, sell the kids, and get a pre-death organ donor line-of-credit) the $1.25M asking price for OJ’s infamous white Bronco even if it were for sale…but what if you could get Johnnie Cochran’s XJ6? Maybe you might find some […]
The Jaguar XK was re-styled and re-released for the 2006 model year on top of a bonded and riveted aluminum chassis, a first for Jag’s grand touring machine. This new XJ was wider, longer, lighter — and in 2009 the XKR version had a new supercharged 5.0 liter V8 that put 503 horsepower into the […]
Assembled in Coventry from 1997 through 2006, the XK added some soft lines to the angular XJ coupe and evokes the legacy of the E-Type. Mechanical & electric parts aren’t as troublesome and “release the smoke” prone as stuff from the 80s, but it isn’t as reliable as a Toyota or Ford or anything from […]
The XK100 generation of the Jaguar XKR (released in 1996) was a modernized replacement for the aging XJS platform that was first developed in 1975. It was a modern take on the old grand touring formula and included a stylish Jaguar coupe body with a supercharged V8 powerplant. The 4.2 liter V8 makes 400 horsepower […]
