Halloween was very odd this year. Few trick-or-treaters came by and those that did were not impressed with my 2020 Batman outfit (batmask up-side-down to cover mouth instead of face, casual work-from-home zoom shirt, sanitizer/handy wipes on utility belt, and a bat sandwich in my gloved hand). They also refuse to stand still when I shot gobstoppers with a slingshot at their open candy buckets from a safe 6 feet away. And those candy buckets and bags these kids use nowadays are weak and tear into candy piñatas at the slightest provocation. Anyway, this next car comes from DT regular Hugh says that it is inexplicitly done to a high standard considering the genre. Find this 1972 Honda Z600 4X4 Monster Truck offered for $15,500 buy-it-now or make-offer in Richmond, VA via eBay.
If you don’t remember the Leepu and Pitbull custom Caprice wagon from the other day, let me remind you with this link. And watch the video of what was the best show on the Velocity channel before it was canned and replaced with yet another American Chopper style over produced show with a bunch of actors pretending to customize cars. Argg. Anyway, the builder of this next car should have his own show and it can be called Horrorods and Candy. Find this 1992 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon offered for $13,000 in SF Valley, CA via craigslist. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Happy Halloween to all DT readers out there: Those who are still young enough to dress like a super hero, and those who are still young enough to dress like an idiot (male) or harlot(female) and, of course, those who are old enough to look like a ghoul without dressing up. Today is the scariest day of the year because we feature horrorods, so I’ll just put this 1994 Chrysler LeBaron offered for $1000 in Reno, NV via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!
The original Buick Sport Wagon was built on GM’s A-Body platform shared with the Skylark and Special…but also the Chevrolet Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, and Oldsmobile Cutlass, F-85…oh boy…we could be here for a while, let me skip to the end…the Buick Sport Wagon shared most of its bits with the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, including […]
Happy Halloween!! On today’s episode of What’ll Kill You Quicker, we’ve got a’66 Corvair that’s been de-clawed of its oversteer prone swing-axle suspension, but it is now sporting a front mounted V8 and enough custom shenanigans to keep you guessing the next failure mode for years…versus an ’84 Fiero that has 20 year newer safety […]
In the next few days, one of the biggest decisions of the decade will be upon us — no, I’m not talking about the US presidential election where you will vote for one of two corporate approved future overlords, neither of which will do anything about the waning influence the USA has over world affairs […]
We continue our DTween celebration of horrors with this next car, a Cadillac Eldorado that has been mildly donked with 22 inch rims and a raised suspension. It actually looks menacing and sorta scary in the seller’s parking garage pictures. Find this 1967 Cadillac Eldorado here on eBay bidding for $4,850 reserve-not-met with 3 days […]
Happy Halloween DT readers, I do hope you are enjoying the festival of All-Hallows’-Eve. Today is the day when kids dress up as their favorite super hero, young adults dress down in sexy fill-in-the-blank costumes (hey, nice sexy Donald Trump outfit lady), and old people subsidize the candy, dental, and insulin industries — basically a […]
