There is an expression about being American as apple pie, so I have to assume that there is an equivalent expression about something being as Japanese as a pie. Probably not apple pie, in fact the pie is probably fish flavored or one of those delicious okonomiyaki pancakes…so this next car is as Japanese as okonomiyaki. If this next car is leaving you confused..don’t fret…because if you weren’t a die-hard Gran Turismo video game fan or a JDM-savant, you might never have heard of the Mitsubishi FTO. The FTO was only built in right-hand-drive, so we never got them in North America, but the 2.0 liter MIVEC 24 valve V6 pushed 197 horsepower into the front wheels for a driving experience similar to the Eclipse.
