Taco Tuesday: 1998 Chevrolet P30 Step Van
DT’s resident Taco Tuesday writer Gianni is on vacation this week, so he asked me (Editor Vince) to fill in. I jumped at the opportunity to post about Tacos, because I love them in any form — hard, soft, corn, flour, Bell, whatever. Find this 1998 Chevrolet P30 Step Van Taco Truck offered for $7000 in SF Bay Area, CA via craigslist.
Finding a sub $20k Taco Truck is actually difficult — because a new one will cost you in excess of six figures and they are small business on wheels, even a depreciated one could be worth $10k in a good weekend of taco selling. This one has an interesting Army green paint job — I think I’d call it the Che-dar Guavara truck and have tacos smothered in cheese served with guava juice and a side of righteous guerrilla communism.

I really like the "Smog & Lube" tail fin. But from the CL ad, it sounds like this thing currently is set up as a mobile banner printing operation. So, no tacos for you! It also looks like there is another business that might or might not be part of a package sale.
p.s. I was all primed to comment on the misspelling of Che's last name, until I re-read your brilliant prose. Nicely done, DT
