Strange Truck: 1989 Dodge Dakota Convertible

The first-generation Dodge Dakota was built in large quantities for the 1987 through 1996 model years, but from 1989 through 1991 there was a special version that features one of the most unusual configurations of the car. It was a convertible pickup truck, which is as strange as it sounds. Find this 1989 Dodge Dakota Convertible offered for $4,500 in Burbank, CA via facevert truckbook.

Seller’s description
We are moving our museum to a new space, and are considering selling a few of our cars and projects.

This is a 1989 Dodge Dakota Convertible by ASC. Its a pretty rare car to begin with, and on top of it, the previous owner modified it with a V6 drivetrain from a 1996 Dakota (so we get 6 lug wheels and a bit more power)

It has been on display in our museum for the past 4 years, it will start up and drive with a jump. We did have the seat redone and a few mechanical things 4 years ago, but it still needs some TLC. It has a few fluids leaks, the paint quality is decent, but not perfect, and the softop needs a new window.

*It has been in temp covered storage for the past 6 months, that is why it is dusty

Price is pretty firm!

Clean title in hand, and carfax. Has about $500-600 in late fees!
