Strange Thing: 1975 Stagecoach Trike

Most vehicle have four wheels, but some have two. And the experts over the years have waged wars about which is better. It is a sad state of motorcycle vs car wars…but there are a few visionaries out there who want to meet in the middle. Perhaps they can form a consensus that is large enough to bring peace to the galaxy by promoting the ultimate concession vehicle…the trike. And if you wondered if it was better to make a car from metal or composite…the answer is wood. Find this 1975 Stagecoach Trike offered for $3,500 in St Cloud, MN via stagebook marketfork. I feel like there is a story behind this vehicle’s design and that story is probably pretty weird.
This looks like a novelty/art piece coffin. Which is maybe a little bit too on the nose.
If it was painted darker or black it could have been in a background scene in the Munsters.
i built a lot of plastic car models in the 1970s. an early one was a replica of George Barris’ Bed Buggy. then one really weird one what was a conestoga wagon with wooden parts and a big blower plastic engine. seems the builder of this thing had the same tastes in model kits. BTW, is worth a trip to the OP for the one minute video around this car/bike/trike /motorized manufactured home. the ” fuel cells” and wiring are not to be missed.
