Starter Classic: 1962 Volvo PV544

People ask me how to get into working on classic cars and I usually give them this advice; buy something inexpensive that needs mechanical work and isn’t a total rust bucket. Don’t buy a car that needs a total bare metal paint job before it looks respectable, and don’t buy something that is so rare you can’t find parts or advice for repairs. Get something like this 1962 Volvo PV544 offered for $3900 in Los Angeles, CA via craigslist.
