Sport Compact Utility: 2001 Acura Integra GSR Type U
You’ve seen them before…and they go by many names. Not quite a pickup truck, not quite a car…but they are known as a Ute, coupe utility, utility, an El Camino, a Picarup, Ranchero…or simply a vehicle where you can go to church on Sunday, but carry the pigs to the market on Monday. Find this 2001 Acura Integra GSR Type U offered for $5,000 in Frederick, MD via craigslist. Tip from SeanT.
From the seller:
I have an Acura integra ute/truck, one of a kind. Its been a project for a year and i’m at the point where i’m ready to part ways. Runs drives, has good PA inspection. Skunk2 Pro Coilovers, Hasport Motormounts, Short throw shifter, The wheels in the picture will not be included. The hood will have to be repainted along with the driver side front fender to make it 100%. In the process of painting they got screwed up and the fix doesn’t look that great either. There is also a squeak in the sunroof. If interested text or call for more info.

Pretty Rad. I would cut two vertical slots out of the tailgate so that I could carry bikes in the back.
I wish they had taken a little more time in finding a rear window. It needs something that fits the shape better than a rectangle. If you're spending that much time on custom fab, you have to watch the details. Otherwise, not bad. Pretty small for a ute.
For a flat piece of glass, you should be able to get that made in any shape you want and get one that covers the whole outline, rather than a plain rectangle.
