Smokin Deal: 1972 Plymouth Satellite
With bidding at $7,100 and less than 90 minutes to go, somebody is about a score on heckuva deal on a 1972 Plymouth Satellite — find it here on eBay
. It is advertised as an all original one owner barn find, but it doesn’t look bad at all and is probably just a few weekends away from being a sweet Friday Turismo.
The Satellite was Plymouth’s cheaper offering on the Chrysler B-Body platform shared with the Roadrunner, and Dodge’s Charger & Coronet. With the basic 318 V8 under that gigantic hood, it isn’t going to be much of a performer, but it’ll look like nothing else on the road for less than $10k, and that ain’t bad at all.

OK I'm biased as I have a 1968 Satellite, but post-1970 bodies on these must be an acquired taste. However, I will give it that this in white with that front grill does look like Moby headed for some krill.
