This is a listing for a 1962 Ford Econoline pickup. It’s a straight six, 3 speed (on the tree) 144cu. It is a VERY rare vehicle if you are familiar with the Econoline pick-up model. They were only ran from 1961-1967 then pulled out of production. It also has the panoramic windows which are a very hard find. It has not been altered or “hot-rodded”.
*It’s a clean Illinois title in my name
This is a runner, rider & stopper. Most of them if found are flower pots or too far gone to invest the money to restore them.
EVERYTHING is functional on this truck including:
All lights, turn signals, brights, wipers, heat, all gauges, battery + oil gauges. It also has a new battery.
It fires right up & never needs to be choked.
The patina on this truck is PERFECT. It has just enough crust but not hurting its integrity.
There is some rust on the underside & the leafsprings may need to be addressed at some point just as a percaution-preservation measure. It doesn’t quite shine as much as some of the pictures show. It has a great sun worn matte finish all around the vehicle.
The bed is solid & is in great shape.
It also has crager wheels & a spare tire-wheel.
It was an awesome weekend toy for me. Im selling it because it needs to be out there on the road & driven. I don’t want it to sit.
It would be a killer rig to toss your surfboards in, hitting farmers markets, or swap meets. It snaps necks everywhere I’ve driven & usually approached when parked for a quick chat about it.
I’ll also include some neat original advertisements & literature brochures for displaying or just to have.
I’ll also include the original service manual.
THE VEHICLE IS LOCATED 35 MILES SW OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
*I’m asking 9,5OO which is a hard number & totally fair.
*It’s always stored in an climate controlled building, out of the elements in the winter & on a vehicle lift off the ground.
Shipping would be for you to coordinate & on your dime. I have a person of contact for a pick up where it is stored on the other end when it comes time.
I’m located in Long Beach. Email for any additional questions or details.
