Seller Truckmission: 1936 Dodge 1/2 Ton Pickup
This next feature is a seller submission from Chris S who writes:
Hi, I have my 1936 Dodge 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck listed on ebay. The truck cruised the streets of Berkeley, CA back in the 60’s. Old man Syversen used to deliver goodies to the hippies. Not sure what kind of goodies he delivered, but one can only imagine the 60’s in Berkeley must have been good times!!! The truck
followed him up to Northern California where it was parked and stored
for the long haul. The 85 year old man is still kickin today, his
name is also on the title that is included in the sale. It is getting
harder to find trucks like this. With a little work this 78 year pickup could be back on the road in no time.
Find this 1936 Dodge 1/2 Ton Pickup currently bidding for $5,100 on ebay with 3 days to go, located in Turlock, CA.
This old pickup looks like something you’d find in any number of small towns scattered across America; well used but honest and still full of potential. The seller provides a detailed photo album here: http://s1232.photobucket.com/
This pickup will need a complete overhaul, starting with the engine (which may just need a little TLC) and continuing to just about every single piece of the truck. But, if you are looking for a complete pre-war Dodge project, this is probably about as cheap as you’ll find.

Great truck! But I'm still stuck in the sixties. I'll give you 500 bucks for it…if you deliver it
6 days left and $5433, it's a bit overpriced for the condition.
Here's a '37 Ford 1.5 ton with flathead V-8 and dump bed that's drivable for $7k

If that's too big for you, here's a '39 ford 1/2 ton also with the flathead v-8 for $7k that you could drive around while looking for an original seat.
