Safari All Things: 2002 Honda Civic Si

You know what they say; “Safari all things!” Huh? They can’t mean all things…can they? What about a Civic Si, they can’t think that would make a good Safari? In case you are reading this from a cave on the moon, to Safari a car is to customize it with large tires, added ground clearance, snorkels, lights, and other manner of accoutrements that would help you to be successful in a Paris-to-Dakar style rally. You don’t actually take your Safari custom off-road, you mostly just drive the car to Costco parking lot car shows, but it looks amazing. Find this 2002 Honda Civic Si offered for $6,500 in Herriman, UT via fakesafari dakarparis.

Seller’s Description
No trades.

I am selling my 2002 Civic Si battlehatch. It’s been a great car to me but it’s time to go.

Mod list is the last picture but its fairly obvious things have been done. Aside from the obvious mods (listed in the last picture) the car has also received regular maintenance. In the last 2 years it has had new struts and springs in the front, new rear shocks, new radiator, new inner and outer tie rods, all new front end components with new bushings and ball joints, spark plugs… maybe that’s it.

I originally was going to swap a JDM K24 into it, hence the header/mounts/KPRO. But I fell in love with a new project of mine and this went on the back burner.

Everything works and no check engine lights.

I even have the original window sticker.

Yes, it has a Code3 unit from a retired police car. I have it set as a PA, electric air horn, and I have music that can play from the PA.

Now for the good and the bad…

Good:
Just look at it, it is RAD
Runs and drives great
Makes its own day light
Well maintained
Truly a 1 of a kind car
Camo nuts

Bad:
Camo nuts
It’s catless, wont pass emissions (and has a small exhaust leak where homeboy welded a pipe to replace the cat)
Has some small dents
Lots of rock chips on the front
Cannot be put back to stock (fender openings cut out to fit tires)
Drivers seat is very seasoned and well done
Motor mounts are stiff so it vibrates

Tags are good until end of October and with how Utah handles car sales now I can leave the plates on it. So you would have until October to register it in your name.

That pretty much covers it.

The car is located in Herriman and my schedule is fairly flexible.

If you have any questions or want to take a look at it, feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you.
