Roush Modified: 2005 Ford F150 FX4

The 11th generation of Ford’s world recording selling F150 pickup truck was released for the 2004 model year and it was another instant hit. Available engines include a 4.2 liter Essex V6, 4.6 liter or 5.4 liter modular V8, but it wasn’t a performance automobile, it was a junk hauler. But todays F150 has been given an overhaul by the guys at Roush (Roosh or Roash…I dunno how it’s supposed to be pronounced) and given a supercharger and lowered suspension. Find this 2005 Ford F150 Roush FX4 offered for $18,000 in Wayzata, MN via craigslist.

So confusing, FX4 off road package, but lowered, then the tires look fairly off road biased.
Around here the big (literally) thing is a big diesel truck with about 12″ of lift and extra shock absorbers wearing tires with 2 inch sidewalls.
Perhaps he has air shocks on it?
I had a Ford pickup I drove in NYC for a few years that I installed Gabriel HiJackers on so that when I was moving a painting or some photo equipment I had a reasonable ride height and dental work friendly spring rate. Then If someone wanted to move a thousand pound sculpture or their apartment, I’d just pump up the shocks and everything was fine.
