Rolls Monte Carlo: 1976 Chevrolet Custom Cloud

Back before time when cars become yawn inducing piles of junk they are today (uh…apart from the Cybertruck) there was the epic saga of the “Custom Cloud Monte Carlo” – a tale so lengthy and mind-numbing that even the bravest of bedtime storytellers refused to take it on. But fear not, for I shall impart to you the abbreviated version, which goes something like this: From 1973 to 1977, a quirky little Florida outfit decided to play automotive dress-up by slapping fiberglass front and rear facades onto the 2nd generation Monte Carlo, attempting to transform it into a Rolls Royce. Well, in the same way that a beefed-up Danny DeVito resembles a pint-sized Arnold Schwarzenegger. Alas, their merriment was short-lived, as the corporate bigwigs at Rolls Royce unleashed their legal hounds, putting an end to this bizarre motoring masquerade! Find this 1976 Chevrolet Custom Cloud offered for $22,500 in Westwego, LA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

For sale i have my beautiful 1976 model Chevrolet Custom Cloud. This is one of only 100 prototype cars commissioned by chevrolet to be built in 1976. It is a high end chevrolet variant built on monte carlo chassis. Of the 100 cars built, there are 12 left known to still exist. Of those 12, this one is the cleanest example left. This is a museum kept car driven only to shows and local events. It has 18,000 original documented miles. This car is powered by a 400V8 and automatic transmission. It runs, drives, shifts and rides as smoothly as a brand new car. Everything works including cold air, power windows, power locks, power steering, power brakes, power mirrors, am/fm/cb radio, electric trunk release and much more. This is a very well optioned car for a 1976 model. The paint is 10/10 show queen quality with absolutely no blemishes, scratches or mistakes anywhere. The interior is 10/10 show queen quality with every bit of it still appearing to be brand new. You must see to appreciate!
