Rare Skybird Edition: 1977 Pontiac Firebird Esprit

In 1970 Pontiac introduced their revamped Firebird, which lived on a 2nd generation Camaro F-platform, but with some unique Pontiac flair, such as Poncho and Oldsmobile V8s. But what really differentiated the Firebird from the Camaro were the strange option packages. The SkyBird was one of was one of several special edition Esprits that came in unique colors. The SkyBird was a nice shade of sky blue, but you could also get a Yellowbird and a Redbird. With that paint and that price, it has Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan all over it.
Perfect for a Lia Thomas.
Now that I think of it, this would go well with my 2003 Fernando Alonso / Renault swag.
Went to the USGP that year at Indy. Stayed in a cheap motel. With the Minardi team on the floor above us. Fun.
Perforated roof liners are underrated.
