Ran Outta Gas: 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet

At first glance the asking price for this next car might seem a smidge high given the seller’s statement that the “car stalled/ran out of gas in 2015” and “been sitting since”. While we would all love to drive on the same tank of gas since 2015 (mostly because that gas only cost 1/5th of today’s pump prices), the hard truth is that this car is going to need some “work” before it gets back on the road. However, if you compare the asking price to any 90s Porsche 911, this suddenly looks like the seller is giving it away. Caveat emPorsche. Find this 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet offered for $3800 in Concord, CA via craigslist.

Yeah, when I run out of gas, I don’t go to the gas station. I just park the car and walk away for 7 years. Eventually I sell the car because buying gas is complicated.
You won’t have to peel back many layers of this onion to smell something strong and start crying. Just sayin’…
So we have the “hard to buy gas” issue and also “missing seats”
If there are no seats and no gas, how do we have pictures outside in a random parking lot and inside some sort of warehouse?
The lack of interior shots is always encouraging. But if its ever up and running again, it seems like it’d be a lot of fun
I’m surprised anything with a P-car badge under $4k is still available after 24 hours. Might be an organ harvesting scheme.
C’mon everybody, sing along with Uncle Stan:
“A brick is a brick is a brick is a brick…
Don’t matter if it’s auto or a rinkey dink stick…
Just take out an ad and sell it real quick
No gas or DOA? Hey, don’t be a …
(…yeah…*that* Stan…)
