Project Chop: 1969 Lotus Europa Spyder

The Lotus Europa (1966-1975) is a regular on the pages of DailyTurismo because it is a good-looking classic with low production numbers (9300 models total across all years of production) and a simple asking price. However, if you are not a midget, you might find it hard to fit in a Europa. The roof is low, the seating position is awkward, but you might fit better if the top was chopped off. Which is great because we’ve got a Europa with a chopped top and room for your favorite spikey hairstyle. Find this 1969 Lotus Europa Spyder offered for $6,500 in Los Angeles, CA via craigslist.

Thanks DT. Any time I get a little down about some of my life choices, I can come here and think “well, at least I’m not that guy”.
Finally! Tall, upper-middle-class men catch a break! I would love to see a 6 foot tall person sitting in this particular version of the car just to see how high his or her head sticks out of the thing.
