Probably Sold: 1967 Datsun 1600 Roadster SPL311

The 1959-1970 Datsun Fairlady was badged as the Datsun Sports or Datsun 1600 Roadster in regions outside of Japan. It was, however, a fantastic alternative to 2-seat roadsters from Britain and Italy and is still quite affordable today. In 2024 its biggest competitor is probably that classic 2-seater from Mazda, but today’s 1600 is a fantastic deal and probably gone already. Find this 1967 Datsun 1600 Roadster SPL311 offered for $5,000 in Stockbridge, GA via facemash wirewheelpalce.

Seller’s description

And promptly sold. Whoever put this up for sale obviously had no connection to it, inherited/stole it and had no clue as to its actual value. I hope I have advance notice of my own imminent demise so I can set my house and all earthly possessions on fire first.
Or maybe I’ll will my cars to Hugh Crawford?
Sounds good to me!
Um, what do you have and how are you feeling?
Based on past experience, I’ll be hit by an errant dump truck moments after claiming good health.
A TR6 with hail damage on jackstands and Florian Schneider’s ’49 Beetle.
Bummer that your jackstands have hail damage.
Don’t forget the jackstand damage on the hail.
Wow, being able to say you own Florian Schneider’s ’49 Beetle is quite a cool deal. That is awesome. I still regret not chasing Billie Joe Armstrong’s BMW 2002 when it was highlighted on DT.
Saw the YouTube about you buying Florian Schneider’s ’49 Beetle. What fun!
Sort of reminds me of my uncle’s story about smuggling a Porsche 597 Jagdwagen out of Germany – apparently it was technically a munition or something.
