The T100 had the rusty frames that killed nearly every one of them that were ever built. How many do YOU see these days? There was a recall where Toyota would either buy the truck back and then crush it, or replace the frame altogether with a better-designed frame. If this is a real ad and someone goes to look at it, check out the frame from the cab mounts back. Even at three grand.
I was gonna say, the T-100 never really took off and you hardly see one on road…. never knew about the frame issues. Yikes!
Tacomas, T100's, Tundras, 4Runners, you name it, they all did this/do this in states with harsh winters that salt their roads. They're everywhere in the south, still. Source: I live in the south.
But the T100 was actually recalled for it, and these trucks had the problem in all 50 States.
The T100 was NOT recalled for the rusted frames. Most definitely not. I have had two T100s since 2002. Basically checked and double checked every other year or so since then. No recall. Tacomas, yes. T100's no.
