DESCRIPTION
1986 SAAB 900. This is a 2 door 5-spd manual trans car that is fun and easy to drive. Power steering with power brakes. Cold A/C and hot heat. New tires. New Bluetooth radio. Clean interior and several extras. New tire chains that have not been installed. SAAB roof rack with ski attachments. I do not have the key for the ski rack. Never used tools in the factory kit. First owner had the car for over 35 years. Comes with new front shocks, oil filters, spark plugs and O2 sensor all still in the packages.

SOLD for $5100 vs $4295 ask obo
$4600 bid/offer plus buyer’s fee of $500. Still, seems fair for what it is. But I’d be a little concerned about the amount of rust forming in the wheel arches, especially on that left front fender by the mud flap. There might be some holes there.
?OTD: Will there ever be another large-scale auto manufacturer as unconventional as Saab?
My guess is no, especially as cars become electrified and simplified (fewer moving parts requiring fewer creative engineering approaches and solutions). Consumers seem to be less tolerant of design quirks and tangents today, which is why it’s difficult to distinguish one brand from the next. But if there’s any chance of future oddity, I’m speculating it will be French, and most likely Citroen.
6’1″ camping for two. … Good rubbers

Reminds me of a story but I’m not telling it here.
