Oddly Well Preserved: 1998 Isuzu Rodeo S

It is always interesting to see the spin that sellers put in their listings for cars that were part of badge engineering mayhem that confused sellers and buyers alike. Here is an Isuzu Rodeo that the seller says “similar to a Honda Passport” which at first had me thinking that Isuzu imported a version of the Passport and badged it a Rodeo, but in truth Isuzu designed and engineered the Lafayette Indiana built Rodeo for the US market and Honda paid them to put a Passport badge on a few to test their ability to sell an SUV in America. Find this 1998 Isuzu Rodeo S offered for $6,500 in Upland, CA via craigslist.
