No Pics: 1967 Toyota Stout
The Stout was a beefy little utility pickup built by Toyota in their Honsha plant and sold in the USA from 1954 through 1968, when it was replaced by the Hilux. However, Stout production continued for their domestic market (JDM…yo) through 1989. Find this 1967 Toyota Stout offered for $5,000 near Seattle, WA via craigslist. Tip from Zach.
The seller doesn’t include any photos of his Stout, but rest assured, it has the same bed styled by someone completely different from the cab look that was a hallmark of Stout styling through all generations. The seller says that the 4-speed column shifted transmission and 1900cc engine runs great, but there is “lots of cancer but curable.”
Nice find. Never seen/heard of these. Crappy craigslist post with no pictures.
What an oddball – like a 1960ish Dodge cab with a Toyota hi-lux bed.
Looks pretty shady. A 50 year old truck with 'lots of cancer' but no photos of the actual vehicle. Makes me think the cancer is only 'curable' by someone with very deep pockets and an oncologist on retainer.
