Nice Car? No NASCAR: 2006 Dodge Charger

This next car comes as a tip from Safety Fast who writes: I know this isn’t a (legal) daily driver, and the price is well over the normal cap, but if you’re posting a $65K Ferrari, maybe this legit NASCAR would be interesting as well. This is the kind of car you can build an entire race-themed garage around. Or it can be the crown jewel in your Miller Lite breweriana collection. I hesitate to call this next car a Dodge Charger, because it is as much as Dodge Charger as I am Usain Bolt — sure, enjoy a good run from time to time…but this is no average Charger. Find this 2006 Dodge Charger offered for $60,000 in Santa Rosa, CA via craigslist.

2006 Dodge Charger NASCAR

This 2006 Charger is a real life Nextel NASCAR that was driven by Hall of Fame Driver and NASCAR champion Rusty Wallace. With tons of documentation, this car is the real deal. Driven by Wallace in his last season, this car is museum quality and completely restored to its race glory. The car is spotless and extremely correct. I have a complete binder showing the chassis build, race history, and engine build. This car can be driven on the track or be a dream car in your garage. This is not a “show” car or demo car, it is a true NASCAR driven by a legend. This is a rare chance to own a piece of stock car racing history.

Excuse me sir, but how much for that old Dodge Daytona in the background?
Am I seeing things or is there also a silver Fisker in the background there?
In all the photos the wheels are pointed to the left.
I wonder if this is a road course build or an oval build.
A road course build would be a far more interesting track day car.
If you’re talking the Orange one that’s a Superbird, and, from the look of the skew (of the sheet metal) shown in the rear shot and the front shot that shows the left “fender” quite wider than the right it seems to be an Oval car.
I think it may be a Shelby in front of the Superbird. Also seem to see a Continental Mark II along with the 442. Interesting mix.
