Mystery Car: 1995 Honda Passport Diesel

Ah yes, another classic JDM Honda Passport diesel, just like they made them in Japan…wait a minute. The C58 generation Honda Passport was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo built in Lafayette Indiana, so I’m not sure you’d have ever gotten something in Japan called the Passport in 1995. Hang on…lemme hit the internet real quick…duckduckgo…wiki. Apparently Isuzu didn’t offer a diesel powered Rodeo in the the early 1990s, and Honda didn’t sell a Passport in Japan, but perhaps someone got a diesel engine from a non-USA spec Rodeo and put it in a Passport…hard to tell without getting a look under the hood, but the fact that it has California plates is a miracle. Find this 1995 Honda Passport Diesel offered for $7,500 in Long Beach, CA via craigslist.
