Mopar3: 1985 BMW 360 V8
Have you had enough of seeing E30 BMWs with carburetor fed Chevy V8s shoved in the front? Good, because this next car has an engine swapped in from that Anglo-Italian conglomerate based out of London known as Fiat Chrysler Automotive. Find this 1985 BMW 325 with 360 cubic inch Mopar V8 offered for $4,200 out of Ithaca, NY via craigslist. Tip from Tim.
This swap has probably been done before, but this is the first time I’ve seen a Dodge engine shoved into the front of BMW’s yuppie mobile from the 80s. The only difference between a Mopar 360 and Chevy 350 is that Mopar parts are more expensive and options aren’t as plentiful.
Expect something like 300 horsepower with the “mild” Crane cam and other items listed by the seller. It does have a few needs (drivers side window motor/track) but for the asking price it could be quite the little sleeper.

I've thought it would be funny to put a Mopar 318 (the 360's little brother) in an E30 and put 318 badges on it… not sure if that would be a BMW or a Mopar 318 badge, though.
We always knew Gunter was different than the other German boys.
He would throw out his strudel for spicy chicken wings, washing it down with a Coors.
Never wearing his lederhosen, always wearing a Whitesnake jean jacket.
^This is what I'm talkin bout.
All that work to do a V8 swap, and they stuff an automatic in it? Ugh!
