Manual Sportbox: 2003 Jaguar S-Type
Do you remember back in the ‘2000s when Ford sold a rear drive sport sedan that could be had with a manual gearbox and sporty 3-liter V6 engine…oh yeah…and it was really a Lincoln, but badged as a Jaguar? Find this 2003 Jaguar S-Type offered for $5,400 in Newton County, AR via craigslist. Tip from Ryan M.

Beautiful 2003 Jaguar “S” type, 1 of only 8 “S” types with a 5 speed manual transmission ever made by Jaguar. The 3 liter engine along with the 5 speed manual transmission provides for rapid acceleration. Black exterior with black Connelly leather seats and trim throughout the entire vehicle. Solid Beryl walnut dash, steering wheel and door inserts. Outstanding Infinity sound system (front & rear) with an 8 unit cd system. Heated power seats and power sunroof.
Vehicle has been well maintained and garage kept for the 15 years (original owner) that I have owed it. All maintenance records and original documentation are in my possession.

The S type is all over the map price wise 5 speed manual a littler tougher to find they are trouble prone.
"1 of only 8 "S" types with a 5 speed manual transmission ever made by Jaguar"
If there were only eight of these made Ford must of lost a ton of money on them since they had to undergo all the emissions testing for only eight cars plus all the parts etc.
Am I misunderstanding something here or is the seller full of something?
Seller is very full of something.
One of only 8 S-types built…by Nigel’s factory shift. That year. In that particular color combination. With those wheels.
Hmmm, I'll take one two years newer, less miles, with the 4.2 V8 for basically the same price Alex…
It is also decidedly a Rear Wheel Drive car, not FWD as the ad states.
