Manual Big-6: 2004 BMW 325i Wagon

I know what you are thinking. Another crappy late model BMW on DT…but hang with me for just a moment. This one is interesting. BMW had this history of bringing only a few models of their wagons into the US market and then equipping them with the smallest engines or not allowing manual gearboxes. However, this car has a M54B30 (3.0 liter inline-6 making 228 hp from a 328i) mated to a 5-speed manual for a special wagon experience. Find this 2004 BMW 325i Wagon offered for $8000 in San Diego, CA via craigslist.

Okay, so what am I missing?
This looks like it’s in great shape, has a good(great engine) and is only $8k?
I know it’s 20yrs old but there are certainly worse ways to spend $8k…
Two things:
1. This appears to be a smoking deal on what would likely become a treasured car. I had the 320 version with a stick and the sports package, very rare combo from what I have seen. It was an utter delight and with a little added power it would have been a forever car in my house.
2. Is the “Remember Me” button on login just a joke of some kind? It feels like I constantly have to log back into the site.
