LS1 Swapped F-Body: 1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS

This next car is close to my heart — I used to own and drive a 3rd gen Camaro, albeit one without a firebreathing LS1 swap. Mine was a basic Z28 with a electric carb fed 305V8 and it was slow…but this one has had that problem fixed. It is a shame that the builder included some oversized wheels, a hideous set of blacked out taillights AND an ugly shifter. Fix those issues and it will be a great car, perhaps worth something near the asking price. Find this 1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS offered for $14,000 in Battle Creek, MI via craigslist. Tip from Cory.

My folks bought an 86 with the v6 brand new. I was about 11 at the time and my sister 8. We tried hard to convince my folks that we could fit in the trunk of the Corvette in the showroom. I got to drive it a bit after it was a clapped out eyesore. Was pretty ok about going around corners.
I’m glad that we’re past the era of Joe Dirt and mullet comments whenever an 80s / early 90s Chebby sports car is featured … which I paradoxically just did.
Absolutely cover that ECU wiring loom pronto unless you’re tight with AAA.
