LS Swapped: 1966 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL W109

We are back with another Bracq Friday classic, a German piece of metal that is far from germane. The W109 was the long wheelbase and air-suspension equipped version of the more common W108 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and commonly equipped with the larger inline-6 and V8 engines. Today’s W109 is a bit rusty but it has been modified with power from a Chevy LS V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Find this 1966 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL W109 offered for $19,950.00 CAD ($14,514.36 USD) in Mississauga, Canada via ebay classifieds.

From the seller:

1966 Mercedes 300 SEL Automatic for Sale. W109 long wheel base.

LS Engine Swap and pneumatic air suspension. Ride it high or ride it low 😛

Car runs and drives but needs love and some work. It’s been stored in our garage and is looking for a new owner. Truly one of a kind. Excellent restoration project. This car was way ahead of its time and had modern features of today.

PS: somebody broke the Mercedes emblem badge in the front.

And please no low ball offers, and serious buyers only.
