Looks Fast Standing Still: 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT
This next car comes from tipper SecondMouse who writes: For less than the price of shipping it, you could own a non-running 1985 Fiero V6 with manual transmission. Stored indoors under a protective coating of dust since 2010, it looks to be in good overall condition. Find this 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT offered for $500 in Magnolia, TX via craigslist.

Bought for Lemons/Chumpcar series about 9 years ago and never started the project.
It has been in a storage building since 2010.
It had the intake removed when I purchased the car and I have never fixed it.
The interior is in pretty good shape and I have the title in hand.

Remove all the body panels, paint the frame bright yellow, put on some big tires and turn it into a dune buggy.
Just don't drive it in sand.

Can I have the wheels? I like those wheels.
Anyone remember the post from about 5 years ago when we talked about our favorite wheels? (beep … boop … hello, computer) dailyturismo.com/2014/04/coffee-brake-show-us-your-favorite.html
And it’s got the v6 for even moar powah. Lemons dominance is inevitable with this! I can see Jay now, shaking his head with a sort of knowing irony as he says to you: “I see you decided on the FAST Fiero…”
Question: I've been reading up on the Toyota 86 (GT86 this side of the pond). Much of the chatter is about how sales have been slow because it's considered underpowered and/or has a nasty dip in the torque curve. Defenders point out this is inevitable with a normally aspirated engine under current regulatory parameters, and say it requires drivers to actually drive, not just blast out of corners with a blip of the gas (Cayman O_o).
What was my question? Oh, yeah: Is the GT the new Fiero?
If it's still moving at almost 30mph while being garage for 9 years it's GOT TO be the fast model. (i crack myself up)
Reminds me of the Dr Who stickers on my niece’s Honda Fit “it’s bigger on the inside”
This one would of course have a sticker that says “it’s faster on the inside”
I have an idea for a new website: Bring a Winch.
