The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was introduced in 1965 with the remarkable distinction of being the first Rolls to be built with unibody construction. The factory in Crewe, England built and sold an astonishing 30,057 examples of this ode to opulence before it was replaced with the Silver Spirit after the 1980 model year. These cars are incredible value per pound and won’t be dirt cheap forever…but maintenance and repair costs can be brutal if you can even find the parts. Find this 1967 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow offered for $10,500 in Sacramento, CA via craigslist. Tip from Matt V.

1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
cylinders: 8 cylinders
title status: clean
Time to sell my weekend car! Had this for a few months, looking to sell for $10,500 or best offer, or an interesting trade.
Previous owner rebuilt the carbs, hydraulic suspension, and brakes. New fluids, including differential fluid and coolant. Also new spark plugs, wires, GM alternator properly adapted, air filter, and more. Included is the original air filters, a few boxes of extra parts, including the a/c parts which are off the car. Good tires, perfect interior, and lots of service records.
Everything receipt from the previous owner, and myself. Additionally, it has a lot of memos back and forth from the factory to the original selling dealership in 1967. Very cool to read through.
Cons are no a/c (included parts to refit it) and sometimes stalls in gear under certain conditions. I have it figured out to be a reliable daily driver, to avoid stalling. Leaks a few drops of fluid if sitting, but nothing getting worse, very manageable. I’ve absolutely loved this car, but time to move on to different experiences. I’m open to trade offers, mostly for interesting/unique cars, with cash added either way as well. Clean title in hand, registration is up to date, and no smog required.
