This next car isn’t something that’ll break records at the Nürburgring…in fact, it probably wouldn’t make a complete lap without stopping for a repair or two, but that shouldn’t stop you from owning one of the coolest cars to ever come out of the Rootes Group factory in England. The seller of this car doesn’t include many pictures or specs, but the Husky is powered by a 1.4 liter inline-4 that will propel this little wagon from zero to 60mph in just under 27 seconds on the way to a blistering top speed of 73.4 mph. Car runs/starts/stops/drives well. Odometer quit at 49,000 miles, true mileage unknown. Engine: Runs well, rebuilt at some point, leaks a little oil. Lots of new parts. Transmission: Manual 4 speed on the floor, shifts properly. Brakes: System completely rebuilt with all new wheel cylinders, brake shoes, hydraulic lines and master cylinder. Emergency brake even works. Wheels/tires: 6 – stock rims sand blasted/primed/painted. All tires have only 10% wear. 6 new port-a-walls. Interior: Seats and door panels professionally re-upholstered. New carpet and floors insulated. Speedometer and fuel gauge not working, has after market Stewart Warner gauges. Momo steering wheel. Glass: Windshield has minor wiper blade scratches ( comes with crated NOS windshield ). All windows original and in good shape. Rubber gaskets mostly dried out.
