Little Quattro: 1984 Audi Coupé GT

The Coupe GT made it’s debut in Paris at the 1980 Paris show, sharing the same basic wedg-y shape as its bigger brother, the quattro, but minus the box flares and bodacious wing. Unlike the WRC winner, it was front-wheel drive and powered by a variety of inline-4 and inline-5 engines with and without turbochargers. Today’s US market Coupé GT is probably powered by the 2.2 liter inline-5 that puts 110 horsepower into a 5-speed manual.
