The fact that most of us have project cars is a foregone conclusion. An oft overlooked portion of project car fleet is the support vehicle; the ratty beast that you don’t give two eff’s about but it continues to haul parts, tow race cars, and make junkyard runs. Some advice; don’t try to put your goodies in back until you’ve located some plywood.
Inside the engine bay is the tried and true Diamond series straight six. This shouldn’t really give any trouble but at the same time will prove slow and thirsty in today’s conditions. I do believe that a 4BT and manual trans might be the hot setup here once the Diamond kicks it.
As you may expect, the interior is completely hammered from the 40-odd years of heating and cooling service calls, which apparently involve a lot of stomping around and pulling at wires. The bench seat would look top notch with a colorful Mexican blanket stitched over the top, or use it as-is. As for the rest, some degreaser, a shop vac, and a reasonable tolerance of hosing out chewing tobacco residue should take care of the balance of the work.

Lemons Support Vehicle (or LSV) come in all shapes and sizes. I see this as the coolest gas can carrier in the joint. That is, if the judges don't take it for their personal use all weekend.
