Lean and Green: 1974 BMW 2002

I hate to be the crazy guy who shouts things up at your window from the street..again…but here I am. And I’ve got two important things to say. First is, if you want a BMW 2002, get one now before they become stupidly expensive and the second is that somebody should start making high-end modified 2002s in the same way that Icon restores Broncos or Singer restores 911s. Oh. Wait, I think I just figured it out. If builders start making $150k restomod 2002s, then the $5k rust buckets will become $20k rust buckets like 911s or vintage Broncos. Forget I ever said this. I was never here. Find this 1974 BMW 2002 offered for $14,500 in Upland, CA via craigslist.

Good grief, to think that 99.9% of Americans would walk past this and spend even more money on a Nissan Versa.
When I think about how my fleet is actually accruing value, yet most of my friends are hell bent on buying boring appliances that shed value like a rocket burning propellant … sigh.
My second favorite BMW color after colorado orange.
Ahhhh- Jade Green. I have a E21 in the same color…
Aye, as BaT has a ’72 Tii @$38k with a day left. Any bidders to guess here?
LUNATIC! Non-Op big bumper squaretail.LUNACY…………oh wait I’m sorry.its a market economy…I have had two roundies…….people paying these prices are the same losers who pay 100 grand for 21 window busses……..but I have some tulips for sale.Get ’em before the price on these rare sunroof tulips goes up!
Gee…I dont know why it has a California Salvage Title aka “The Kiss of Death” even though I’m selling it. (Shoulder shrug)
One of the cleanest 2002’s I’ve ever seen that wasn’t a trailer queen.
Would want to see the undercarriage. And a few other tasty bits.
That salvage title just means you’d need to look a bit harder.
-Stan (who still has a massively scraped up 2002 hood badge… the last remnant of my car before they towed it away after the accident)
