Just For The Badge: 1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse

Occasionally the internet delivers something good. Not always. Mostly it produces bad news and insufferable spam, but today I stumbled into the perfect car for a badge that wanted to use on Halloween. What’s a badge? It is the little icon you see next to DT posts that are created by DT’s logo guru Kaibeezy (read more about the DT badges here). Anyway, I’m posting this next car ONLY because it matches the classic DT 59 Cadillac Eureka Landau badge. Find this 1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse offered for $8500 in Phoenix, AZ via craigslist.
Here is a full sized render of the badge. Shockingly good stuff!

I want this. But I’m certain that it would be met with scorn and disapproval if I brought it home. I’d have to park it somewhere else (like in the funeral home parking lot down the road) or I’d be forced to live in it.
Cadillac hearse with Torq Thrusts! Can’t get any better than that. Well maybe if the guy that painted the previous car could paint this one.
And what’s with the landau bar only on one side?
Not the father daughter project I’m looking for but it’s very nice.
As Sergeant Schultze would say……….the Seventies Caddies have NOTHINK on the ’57-64’s Caddies!
One of my son’s skateboard buddies had a hearse. Tricked out with skater dude paint job. They were planning to road trip to Winnipeg which apparently has some epic skate parks – who knew? Before they left I warned them that skater dudes + graffiti hearse = guaranteed border inspection. Sure enough they were inspected for a couple of hours coming and going.
What kind of trouble would YOU get into with a hearse?
Too much $ for a death metal band gig transportation unit.
