Jurassic Fueling: 1991 Ford E-350 Van

There are a number of reasons why gas is so expensive now, but I don’t have the time or expertise to explain it all, but I will say that I’ve got a car with a tank big enough to bust $100 at the pump in California…but I can’t imagine what it would be like to fill up a 60 gallon tank. I would say you could fuel it up once a year, but with the amount of…umm…flair…attached to this car, it’d be lucky to go 300 miles with that fill up. Find this 1991 Ford E-350 Van offered for $17,000 in Fairfield, IA via metabook facepalm. Tip from Hugh.

Seller’s Description

1991 E-350, Extended long version. Lots of room inside. I’ve owned this van for 20 years. The body has a 106,000 miles but the entire drivetrain and suspension only has about 58,000 miles all pulled from a very low mileage rv. Originally E250 with a 351. Now converted to a full E350 dually, front and rear, brakes, suspension and all, Along with a 460 and automatic with overdrive. Added 90’s style ford dually fender flares. This van runs fantastic and has been driven 5000 mile round trip to Oregon and back twice with no issues. This is our family vacation van and is a user so it’s not perfect but is in excellent condition for 30 years old. Yes the stacks are functional but could be taken off easily and there are two 1/2″ holes on each side that would need filled or plugs, it is not loud, very nice mellow tone. The tank on the side is the fuel tank that works with the factory gauge and holds 60 gallons. Has backup camera and Bluetooth hands free setup. Rock solid on price, $17,000.
