Italian Style: 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6
Cars from the mid eighties continue to be a sweet-spot for a combination of speed and style at a bargain prices and the Giorgetto Giugiaro designed Alfa Romeo GTV is a perfect example of that paradigm. Find this 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 offered for $6,200 in Poway, CA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.
Today’s GTV6 isn’t the factory original example that you’ve been looking for and instead has been cosmetically modified inside and out. The exterior has been jazzed up with a wide flat-black stripe and see-through hood, but the interior is also upgraded with the Recaro interior from a Milano Verde.
Under the forward hinged hood is a 2.5 liter Busso V6 that is rated for the US market at 160 horsepower and 157 ft-lbs of torque. Power heads to the rear wheels (suspended by a de Dion rear suspension) via a 5-speed manual tranaxle located out back for proper weight distribution.

Not sure I've seen bumpers like that. Maybe it's just my eyes!
I agree. The front bumper looks like the euro version and thus appeals. The back bumper, I'm not sure what I'm looking at there; not saying it's unappealing, just not sure what I'm looking at.
Oh jesus christ someone save this poor car.
"see-through hood"… you lost me there.
Both of those bumpers look like either A) redneck repair OR B) missing American bumper covers?
I guarantee that those are neither Euro or American factory finished….
This one has an aftermarket kit… witnessed by the stick-on trim, huge ass cheap bolts and that it looks like an 90's era sex-spec left to rot.

Just discovered that this car was written up here about 2 years ago. Anyone else notice that? Interesting to see that the value hasn't really changed.
