We posted a Land Rover Series III the other day that was really just a collection of parts. Commenter Mountainwoodie got it right when he suggested the seller’s spouse had probably said: ”You better get that pile of junk out of the garage or I’m taking the kids and going to my mothers!” At least it was cheap. Anyway, this next Series III Land Mover is assembled and is probably worth the bump up in price. Find this 1981 Land Rover Series III 109 Diesel offered for $15,000 in Blue Island, IL via craigslist. Selling my beloved Land Rover from Australia. I am the 2nd owner of this Aussie original I imported and have a clean Illinois title in my name. I have done a tone of work to get it back to original condition since I bought it in 2016. It has never seen a Chicago winter or road salt and is 100% rust free and garage kept. Work done: Re build CAV Diesel Pump (Summer 2020), New injectors (Fall 2019), New Glow Plug Setup (Fall 2019), Rebuilt original Lucas Stater (Winter 2018). Brakes (Summer (2018). Electric work (Summer (2018). Original Land Rover rims and OEM tires.

I have tons of pictures of it since I have had it. Paint is original and buffs out great, I have additional pix of truck after I buff it out in the Spring.
