Happy Syncro de Mayo: 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Adventure Wagon
Welcome to Daily Turismo’s Syncro de Mayo, our May 5th celebration of Volkswagen’s four wheel drive system known as Syncro. Next up in our symphony of syncronicity is a somewhat scurrilously scandalized example of the Volkswagen Type 2 (T3) which is variously known as the Transporter, Caravelle, Microbus, Vanagon, Kombi, or Westfalia. Scandalized you say? More like Suburaized! Find this 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Adventure Wagon offered for $25,000 in Bend, OR via craigslist. Tip from James.

A original Ed Anderson Adventure wagon and a single knob Syncro.
I purchased to do a complete restoration, and update the top with the NHT top. I was going to travel to Bend to pick up top from one of about 3 local distributors.
2.5 Subaru motor, 5,000 miles on motor
Single knob Syncro
A wonderful layout and the best if done right. Of course theses vans take time, effort and money to do right. Even the best plans need a resto after 30 some years. I planned on a NHT TOP, and a deep dive into interior and exterior resto. I planned and I was going to invest about $50 strong into van. I already own and have a $70 mint westy I was going to build this van and later sell my gem. I have a Holiday decor company in Sacramento, past 26 years, and threw a price UP in the air, and the company was purchased for a ton more, almost inside 2 months. This is a crazy amount of loot,. My problem is I will not have my shop of 26 years. So, the reason. A gem and thee best if you have the resources and knowledge to complete.
