Up here in the snow belt, this weekend is often the period of rebirth for our classic cars. Mine woke up on Friday but alas, more snow fell yesterday. Sigh…..

Let's just say that I think they have great value and relevance.
Very interesting! Though I'm not even remotely Pagan nor really have a tremendous interest in it, I have several acquaintances that are. Recently, one of them loaned me two books (I forget the titles) that talked about how modern holidays are connected to the old ways. As much as I could follow it, the information was interesting.
To be connected to the seasons is a rather novel thing to an old California boy like me, though I haven't lived there in over 2 decades. I love the change in seasons very much even though I'm really tired of winter at this point. I need to hang up my parka, please.
I find it a bit of a bummer that my Pagan friends have to hide their beliefs. But it's understandable, given the world we live in. I mean really, who cares? They aren't victimizing anybody with it and it's their business as far as I'm concerned. They don't try to talk me into anything and I don't try to coerce them to my way of thinking either. Haven't we moved past all of that as a society?
