Happy 4th of July: 1965 Studebaker Wagonaire Commander
Happy 4th of July, freedom lovers! The Commander name was first used on a Studebaker way back in 1927 when Calvin Coolidge was president and the FCC (originally the Federal Radio Commission) started to regulate the use of radio frequencies. Ahh..the early days of the FCC…good times…what could be more American than the ever tightening grip of government agencies regulating America into the future…well…a Studebaker that looks like a wagon but functions like a pickup…that is one innovation the man didn’t expect. Take that regulation!! Find this 1965 Studebaker Wagonair Commander offered for $12,500 in Eastern WV via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Perfect for bringing that new refrigerator home from Home Depot!
The GMC Envoy brought the retracting roof back to the market in the mid-2000s. What's old is new again! I love the Studde wagons. The 1965MY was probably the best-looking of the Lark cars. Very nice!

That scene in the hangover 3 with the giraffe would have been funnier with one of these. Not that I have any idea why.
