Guigaro Vibes: 1989 Saab 9000 CD Turbo

The Saab 9000 was launched in 1984 as the Trollhättan-based car company’s foray into executive car business. Styling was a two-punch combination of Björn Envall and Giorgetto Giugaro, and it was a striking design when new — not outrageous, but not just another blob mobile that everyone else was pushing on unsuspecting consumers. Today’s CD-sedan has the sweet three-spoke SPG rims and looks cosmetically nice, but has a few mechanical issues that bring the price down to a very affordable level. Find this 1989 Saab 9000 CD Turbo offered for $2,000 in Glendale, CA via craigslist.
