Get A Bucket: 1965 Chevrolet Corvair
This 1965 Corvair is one of the more desirable second generation Corvairs with the safer independent rear suspension that we prefer instead of the swing axle. Covered in a protective patina of rust, it appears to be in good shape aside from missing most major trim and glass pieces, and not running. Find it here on craigslist for $800 located in East Mesa, AZ. Special thanks to GaB reader Ralph N for his submission.

Buy this car and you will soon become very familiar with Pat and her sister Tina.
Oh, it's an automatic. Otherwise, I was all over this. Of course, only if the seller could prove that it has not rained in Phoenix since this was parked in 1966.
Motor intact does that mean its rusted in place ?
I believe that is a nautical term. This rusty POS is currently in tack, but in a minute we are going to jibe…
If this car was used as a boat it does explain some of the rust.
"if the car was used as a boat" – ha! good one, v 😉
DT on speed. The more serious side of DT.
What give with the plain old adds. Must be trying to be like that more serious site.

We really prefer the fenestrated windscreen to the more common contiguous unit found on more spendy examples.
