That's hilarious! I can see this thing all decorated up for the local Pride Day celebrations.
I'm digging the fiberglass "soft" top, especially with the glass panel. This car is expensive, given the needs, but it's an uncommon body style in the VW buggy world. It's more curvy and rounded than a Manx.
What this needs is a restoration heavy on chrome and metal flake. I envision a bass boat paint job (green body, silver roof), silver sparkle upholstery and matching steering wheel, and chromed wheels with baby moon hubcaps. No mention of motor displacement. It needs a 1776 with a chrome stinger exhaust.
I'm glad it's 500 miles away from me and double what I would want to pay, because it's really tempting.
This is exactly what this buggy needs.
